CINDY SILVER
JD, Barrister Solicitor
Cindy Silver earned a B.A. (Hons.) at the University of Saskatchewan in 1987, her LL.B (JD) from the University of British Columbia in 1991, and was called to the BC bar in 1993. Through her 30 year career, Cindy has gained a broad range of legal experience in both litigation and solicitor’s work. Along the way, she has discovered that her real passion is in being a solicitor, working directly with clients to achieve their legal needs and goals from start to finish. Cindy has valuable interpersonal skills that enhance her effectiveness in representing a client’s interest and perspective in real estate, contracts and corporate law.
In 2007, Cindy founded Silver Law. The ideas behind this personalized North Shore law firm were to create an environment founded on a mix of old-style and contemporary business principles, combining professionalism and expertise with great customer service in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
LÉA NAVRATIL
JD, Barrister Solicitor
Léa Navratil has worked with Silver Law since 2009, specializing in real estate conveyancing. She received her BBA in Business Administration from BCIT and Juris Doctor (JD) of Law from Thompson River University before being called to the BC Bar. In over ten years experience at the firm, she has gained a thorough understanding and mastery over our practiced areas of law. Léa’s natural people skills translate to exceptional customer service in her work as a conveyancer, paralegal and now lawyer. She enjoys the quick pace and excitement of working in law, and loves the rewarding experience of helping first-time buyers purchase a home. Her background in business administration informs and enriches her leadership role at the firm. Léa’s dedication, attention to detail, and enthusiasm make her a valued member of the Silver Law team.nt.
STEPHAN SADER
JD, Barrister Solicitor
Stephan grew up in Victoria and attended the Peter Gustavson School of Business at UVic.
After graduating, he moved to Calgary and worked as a business analyst within supply management divisions for oil and gas companies. Throughout his work experience, he completed a Project Management Professional designation and a Conflict Resolution program with a specialization in negotiation and mediation.
Stephan subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Faculty of Law at Thompson Rivers University. While attending law school, he participated in the Community Legal Clinic in Kamloops, providing legal services to low-income citizens.
In his spare time, Stephan enjoys biking and international travel. He has visited over fifty countries and is eager to see more.
TINA Y. P. TRAN
Senior Conveyancer
Tina Y.P. Tran joined Silver Law in 2020 with 20 years of experience as a real estate conveyancer. Originally from Vietnam, she has lived and worked in Canada since age eleven. She is professionally trained in Computerized Accounting Business and Professional Office Administration. Over the years, she has cultivated a unique expertise in facilitating the legal processes involved in property transfers.
Tina possesses unfailing work ethic and persistence, which allows her to see files through to completion and confidently mitigate any issues that come up along the way. She enjoys the atmosphere of the boutique law firm and especially the sense of teamwork at Silver Law, and loves to see clients happy with their sale or purchase.
Tina is a valued member of the Silver Law team.
MARYAM ARDESHIRI
Legal Assistant
Maryam Ardeshiri is a valuable part of the Silver Law team as Legal Assistant. She joined Silver Law with twelve years of experience in the field and holds a professional Legal Assistant Diploma. With over a decade of experience, she has a wealth of knowledge to offer our clients and is always looking to upgrade her skillset to gain knowledge in new areas of law.
Maryam is one of the fixtures that keeps Silver Law running smoothly day to day. She brings a calm sense of reliability and positivity to our team at the office. Originally from Iran, she is also fluent in Farsi, which is helpful to many of our clients on the North Shore who speak Farsi as a first language.
